That's right it's that time of year again!  
“Season’s of the Witch” Halloween & Samhain Contest  2011!

Show me your spooks, witches, dark, creepy, fun, humorous, frightful...
Show me your spook-tacular vision of Halloween or Samhain!!!
(Does not have to be only witches... it must be what you envision Halloween or Samhain to be! Be imaginative and WOW my judges with your originality, talents and your awesome arts!
Entries can be Spooky, Funny, Alternative, Dark, Vintage... and so on...
While I do expect dark, scary, and gholish entries...
I will not accept any entry that is offensively gory or grotesque. Sorry.(if you are unsure send me a note with a link and I will let you know if I will accept it)

Entries will be scored by judges based on:
1.Creativity
2.Originality
3.Technical Skills
4.Theme (Halloween/Samhain)

I want to see some creative and imaginative entries!
I want you to WOW us even more than you did in the contests past years!  Are you up for the challenge?  Then bring on the "originality" .... IF YOU DARE!!!  I know you can do it!

Halloween MagicThe dim burning glow,
A flickering light,
The rustle of wings as winged creatures take flight.
Mist and cold chills swirl round in the air,
Whipping and teasing and twirling your hair.
Monsters and goblins, fairies and elves,
Familiar but not,
No one looks like themselves.
Shadows seek to tease you, around you they prance,
They frolic, they laugh, they jump, hide, and dance!
Giants and trolls? Dwarves, gnomes, and small creatures?
The shadows keep dancing, distorting their features.
Heartbeats and gasps! What should you believe?
It's all part of the magic on All Hallows Eve! OtherworldlyHeed my call
With trembling hands you drink deep the amber moon
Pour your libation of self onto the flaking earth
And draw back the curtain
Veiled in a thin, opalescent sheet
Shimmering, pulsating
Rippling with power and vibrating with the echoes of time,
The world you left no longer holds sway
You are free
Free to weave skeins of twilight into a thread of stars
Upon your loom, the sky
Though you dwell far beyond the tangible realms
Here, we are waiting
We tell you tales as circular as the rim of a chalice
For they have no beginnings…they will only end to restart the cycle
The silent walls that once pressed you in now crumble like ancient pillars,
Revealing doorways carved with silver runes
The magic of the realms knows no boundaries,
